Let’s Welcome Spring 😊
The first Spring markets in the area have started. I am at Emsworth Loves Local Mega Market www.emsworthloveslocal.uk on Saturday, March 15th, along with many other local traders.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase my latest textile art: Cyanotypes on cotton fabric with embroidery placed in a hoop.
I hope to create little vignettes on my stall table, for example, I have a photogram, lantern, and hoop where the botanical is Maidenhair fern, so, alongside these I will have a real maidenhair plant. I have a beautiful pink covered copy of Sense and Sensibility to showcase my new bookmark selection and some pretty room fragrances and candles to highlight my Mother’s Day framed photograms. With a nod to Spring, I want the table to look green, fresh and welcoming.
I have also put some new small photograms into Gallery No 30 https://galleryn30.co.uk/ Petersfield, pretty botanicals sitting in silver and white frames, I think they would make lovely Mother’s Day gifts. There is a beautiful selection of art cards for sale in the Gallery at the moment too, all by local artists.
I attended the first UK pen show https://ukpenshows.co.uk/ of the year in London, with my son Kris who had a stand there, https://nine-bespokepens.co.uk/ where he kindly let me pop some of my bookmarks out for sale😊. Thanks Kris.
